Jesse Jackson was contracted to speak at a November 2007 political rally in Trinidad for the United National Congress, but never showed up.  He cited not wanting to show favoritism to any of Trinidad’s political parties as the reason. Must be nice!! The agency agreed to pay Jesse his $75,000 fee, but he never collected so it’s settled right?? Wrong!

He probably didn’t anticipate being sued for the $100,000 in additional costs the AEI firm incurred for booking him—$63,932 in commission and $36,068 for a chartered private jet. No worries, Jesse can pay that back in a couple of gigs.

Oh and how about this?? Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King, III were also contracted to speak and flew commercial like most people. Shoulda hopped on that empty jet!
