Janet Jackson Hosts amFAR Dinner @ Milan Fashion Week: Linda Evangelista, Alek Wek, Kanye West + More!!

Janet Jackson co-hosted amFAR‘s first charity event in Milan with Dan & Dean Caten of DSquared2.  The star-studded event successfully raised thousands of Euros for the AIDS charity.

Back when it used to actually mean something to be a supermodel, Linda Evangelista was the most beautiful woman on the catwalk to me (next to Naomi Campbell & Iman, of course).

Janet Jackson’s VMA Performance – Fabulous!!!

The only performance I was really looking forward to!! Janet did amazing, & even managed to wet the eyeballs of a certain unnamed blogger who only emotes during Lifetime movies.

Damn, homie!! After 7 years, Janet & Jermaine have called it quits. Hey shit happens, even break ups. But probably the most surprising thing is Jermaine’s absence during her time of grief. He wasn’t at the funeral, & word is he hasn’t been there since. Whassanever it was that broke them up musta been baaaad!! [NYDN]

Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch announced via YouTube that he has throat cancer, & the group will be postponing tourdates. “The good news is is that they did scans of my whole body, and it’s only localized in this one area. And, it’s not in a place that affects my voice, so that’s nice.” He’ll be having surgery next week. Our prayers are with you MCA!! [YT]

The Jamie & Neyo Show BET Awards were overhauled to recognize Michael Jackson, and Janet made an emotional appearance on behalf of the family to thank everyone for their support.

It took a LOT of strength for Janet to be there, & outside of Neyo’s covers this was the most emotional moment of the night.
