This was aired yesterday on a television show called Red Faces in Australia. The performers were parodying the Jackson Five as Jackson Jive in blackface, with the Michael Jackson impersonator in–white face?? Harry Connick, Jr. was not amused, & neither am I!! WTF?!

LAKELAND, Fla. — Animal control officers hope to trap a pack of raccoons that mauled a 74-year-old Florida woman who tried to chase them from her yard.

 

UPDATE: Three Teens Arrested in the Murder of Derrion Albert; Mothers Acknowledge Murderers Are Their Sons

Two mothers acknowledge that their sons contributed to the brutal murder of Derrion Albert, one in tears and offering condolences. Another mother who had not yet viewed the videotape stated that her son is not “a bad kid,” and “he was protecting himself.”

I semi-joke w/friends that I’ve given myself a curfew b/c the streets ain’t safe, but when even the good kids can’t attend school w/o the fear of an attack, why should they go, right? Here’s an update on the tragedy.

 

Chicago Teen Attacked, Beaten to Death in Violent Gang Melee

Police are now looking for 16-year-old Derrion Albert’s killers. The honor student was not a gangmember, and was pulled into the fight after trying to help a fellow classmate.  Police say no guns or knives were drawn during the fight, instead “fists, feet, & boards.”
