Now I love CiCi and everything, & none of these fools are touching her when it comes to this dance shit. Have you seen the Work video?? Exactly. But what I’ma need this brawd NEVER TO DO is pick up a microphone & try to shut it down w/a ballad. There was no world healing @ the BET Awards when Ciara opened her mouth.  I didn’t even know WHO was singing until they zoomed in!! The horror!! *washes ears out w/Beyonce*

Alicia Keys looked FABULOUS @ the BET Awards. Loved the shoes & the shirt/dress, but that PIMPLE!! Everywhere you turned it was just LOOKING at us. SPEAKING to us. MOCKING us.

Beyonce Performing @ the BET Awards 2009.

From what I understand…Beyonce wears this “outfit” on the tour, & this is all part of her actual show. The disappointing thing is (if I may take the time to actually hate on Beyonce’s performance which is next to impossible to do…) she sang “Ave Maria” which just seemed so inappropriate given the need for a dedication in such a lackluster awards show.  Beyonce sang  Can’t Help It for her Philly audience (BEAUTIFULLY, I might add); BET got shafted.

 

Janet Jackson Speaks On Behalf of the Jackson Family @ the BET Awards [VIDEO]

The Jamie & Neyo Show BET Awards were overhauled to recognize Michael Jackson, and Janet made an emotional appearance on behalf of the family to thank everyone for their support.

It took a LOT of strength for Janet to be there, & outside of Neyo’s covers this was the most emotional moment of the night.
