Well to be (un)fair, there have been cases reflecting laws where fathers are still required to pay child support for children that aren’t theirs. So this doesn’t necessarily mean financial freedom for Eddie, and I do hope he remains in this child’s life.

But in (un)related news, TMZ is reporting that Eddie bounced a $150,000 donation check he presented to the JAMAICA 360° Sun Festival, a program that rewards 100 outstanding African-American college students w/an all-expense paid trip to Jamaica.

He’s being sued by a man who claims he lent Eddie his Amex to cover a hotel tab, but instead Eddie used the card to charge the donation!! Maybe his ex-wife can do him one solid and foot the bill.
